my mission is to tell your beautiful story
Do you know that girl that’s always whipping out her camera when she’s with her friends to capture the moment, but she only has those long armed selfies of herself? Or those cringy self timer photos? Yeah, I get it— because that girl is always me. I’m a sentimentalist, so I KNOW how hard it is to document a moment! And sometimes, life gets in the way, and we don’t take photos of all. I believe in asking for help, and choosing the right person to tell your story in the way you feel your life should be told is vital.
The journey that got me here
I want you to be the star
I went to Sacramento State (stingers up!) to study photography because running this business has always been my biggest dream. I worked HARD to get a rounded education as well as absorb myself in the photography community. What breaks my heart is how fast time flies, and sometimes we don’t think about documenting it until it’s too late. I know what it feels like to not have any photos from an important time in my life, and I would do anything to go back in time to change thart. I know what it’s like to get overwhelmed and not pull my camera out at all.
We all need a friend to be there for us— and I aim to be your hype girl! You are the star of your own life, and it’s time that you show up for it. I will help you with style, location scouting, posing, and so much more. I want you to document the important times in your life— and I’m cheering you on.
My philosophy
I make photo sessions easy. I have a system that totally takes your mind (and pressure) off of the camera. I guide you into prompts that are fun and help create authentic moments! I hype you up the entire time, and will make your experience legend-Ihopeyournotlactoseintolerant-dairy! I promise to help make you will look natural, fresh, and joyful in your photos.
My style is warm, bright, and real
As a Sacramento and Roseville photographer, I love the shoot in the nearby parks and fields! I’m in love with natural, buttery light and California’s beautiful open landscapes.
My images are warm, bright, and full of feeling. I work hard to translate people’s warm & fuzzy emotions on camera, and I do this in several ways. Everything from the location, time of day, outfits, posing, and hand crafted editing, all has a strategic role in the way that an image feels. I want you to look at an image and clearly see how you and your relationships are from the inside and out.
